Ilan and Assaf Ramon, International airport, Eilat, Israel
Zigi was invited by Rona Ramon & the Architect Amir Man, who designed this airport, to create a tribute to the Astronaut Ilan Ramon and his son, the pilot Asaf, for the International airport in Timna, Eilat Israel. The airport is named after them.
The Tribute work standing free and consists of two painted sides.
The Tribute was created to commemorate on one side the Astronaut Ilan Ramon A KNIGHT IN SPACE who was killed aboard the Columbia shuttle. The first and only Israeli Astronaut.
On the other side, A Tribute to Asaf a young pilot in the Israeli Air Force. A PRINCE IN THE SKY
